On the learning menu was a helping of synergies and social media advice. Jenny Ives, a Chartered Financial Planner at Milford & Dormor Financial Planning Financial Planners, discussed how a synergistic approach can serve the clients of Solicitors and Independent Financial Advisors. Guest speaker, Sue Haswell of Big Results PR and Marketing, gave a presentation on how to use LinkedIn to maximise professional connections.

Jenny, who set up the group, said: ‘My vision for the group is to bring together women in business in a relaxed and supportive setting. This way we can explore topical business related concerns and learn from each other’s experiences.’

Jennifer Fernyhough, a Probate and Trust Manager at Michelmores LLP, who joined the group said: ‘What a good idea it was to have a working women’s lunch.  I have never been to one before and it was most interesting to share like we did.’
