This year the criteria for the award included: a clear strategy for growing the business for the benefit of our clients; demonstrable succession planning; active consideration of a clients’ ethical investment preferences and the option of an investment proposition covering ESG (environmental factors, social responsibility and corporate governance) criteria; a contribution to the profession through sharing best practice and holding roles with professional bodies; a commitment to client education; and a high level of qualifications among staff – all of which we are pleased to say we do and have, and continue to strive to better.
